Chanel’s first perfume arrived in 1921, when Gabrielle Chanel and perfumer Ernest Beaux created N°5. Its name and presentation were as deliberate as the fragrance itself. Powders and lipsticks followed in 1924, and a skincare range in 1927, expanding the house’s expression beyond clothing. Seen through that history, the bottle is a small introduction to a larger creative world: one in which scent, colour and personal style belong in the same conversation.
