Christian Dior introduced his first fashion collection in Paris in 1947, alongside his first perfume, Miss Dior. He wanted fragrance to be part of the world he was creating through clothes, drawing inspiration from flowers and working with perfumer Paul Vacher. That connection between a look and a scent offers a way into Dior’s beauty story. A lipstick, a palette or a perfume becomes another means of composing how you want to present yourself.
