Is this your brand? Claim this pageStarbucks opened in Seattle’s Pike Place Market in 1971, selling whole-bean coffee for people to brew at home. A later visit to Milan inspired Howard Schultz to bring elements of Italian café culture back to Seattle, and in 1987 the business entered its coffeehouse chapter. That shift, from buying beans to spending time over a cup, remains a useful way to understand the brand: coffee as both a product and a reason to pause.

My love affair with Starbucks began in university, somewhere between dreams, deadlines, and discovering who I wanted to become. Since then, every chapter of my life has had a cup of Starbucks in it. Every milestone, every new beginning, every heartbreak, every victory. From late nights chasing impossible dreams to quiet mornings watching those dreams come true. Some people measure their lives in years, places, or photographs. I measure mine in cups of coffee. And somehow, through all the versions of me I've been, Starbucks has remained a familiar little constant. A thousand memories, a hundred beginnings, and always, a cup of Starbucks. ☕❤️
